LOATAD’s publishing arm seeks to bring the work of emerging writers from Africa and the Diaspora to the world. Our author’s work is distinctive – politically influenced fiction and narrative nonfiction rooted in African and Diaspora culture that seeks to inspire debate.
We are particularly interested in areas of literature in which writing from the African continent is not well represented including nature writing, literary criticism, and narrative nonfiction.
We announce calls for submissions on our social media channels and on the website.

Ghanaian Writing on Migration and Diaspora (2021)
In 2021, LOATAD published a series of chapbooks in collaboration with Light Factory Publications in Canada. Ghanaian Writing on Migration and Diaspora are three poetry chapbooks produced following an open call for submissions on the theme.
